Amy Durfee West
Amy Durfee West was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1980, and the Pennsylvania Bar in 2009. After practicing law in Denver for 28 years, Ms. Durfee West moved to the Philadelphia area in August, 2008 to pursue a joint MBA/M.Div. from Eastern University. In June, 2009 she re-launched Durfee West P.C.
Amy has significant experience in the following areas:
- Real Estate Finance: Loan documents and financial transactions; bond transactions; loan workouts; title issues; management and marketing of distressed real estate assets; HUD transactions; tax issues.
- Real Estate Development: Development, redevelopment, purchases, sales and leases of real property; drafting covenants, condominium declarations, easements, and other documents affecting use of real property; construction contracts; cell site leases; land use and zoning.
- Business Law: Corporate/business law including LLC’s and limited partnerships; contracts, including employment contracts, confidentiality agreements, supplier contracts, operating agreements, partnership agreements, and other entity documents.
- Litigation Support: Legal research and writing; drafting pleadings and discovery; appellate briefs.
